Job Overview

The Master of Science in Drug Development Program seeks an Adjunct Associate Professor with significant industry experience in biologics development, formulation science, pharmaceutical quality, and regulatory strategy. The successful candidate will contribute to graduate education by teaching courses focused on the development, formulation, manufacturing, and quality assessment of biological therapeutics, while bringing current industry practices and perspectives into the classroom.

Essential Functions

• On a part-time basis, conduct and teach assigned undergraduate and/or graduate-level courses and seminars.
• May serve as an academic adviser for students and evaluate student coursework.
• Engage in other activities ancillary to or in support of his or her responsibilities.
• Review, and where necessary, respond in a timely manner to all University-related communications.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Required Experience

• Prior teaching experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to present complex material to students unfamiliar with a subject.
• Must have outstanding writing skills to present research in written format.
• Ability to work and collaborate with individuals from a variety of backgrounds.

Additional Qualifications Considered

• Senior-level leadership experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or contract research/testing industry.

• Experience with biologics characterization, formulation development, quality control, and CMC strategy.

• Knowledge of regulatory requirements governing biologic therapeutics.

• Evidence of scholarly achievement, publications, presentations, or professional contributions within the life sciences industry.

• Experience teaching, mentoring, training, or presenting to scientific audiences
