IT Compliance Analyst

Overview Responsible for supporting the organization's governance, risk, and compliance efforts with a focus on healthcare regulations and patient data protection. Ensures the organization adheres to industry standards such as HIPAA, HITECH, and other applicable federal and state regulations. Collaborates with IT, compliance, and system departments to identify risks, implement controls, and maintain a strong security and compliance posture. Partners with leadership to ensure robust business continuity and disaster recovery planning. Responsibilities Demonstrate ability to meet deadlines, remain accurate, and handle constantly changing situations. Deal with a variety of people, handle stressful situations, and manage conflict. Perform all assigned job duties or tasks as required. Follow and adhere to all licensing board or agency requirements, regulations, and procedures. Comply with all Benefis Health System organizational policies and procedures. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field; or relevant work experience. Minimum of three (3) years of enterprise information technology experience. Minimum of one (1) year of information security, IT audit, or GRC experience. Relevant cybersecurity, compliance, or risk manager certification (e.g., CISSP, HCISPP, CISA, CRISC, Security+) or ability to obtain within one (1) year of hire. Strong understanding of HIPAA, HITECH, and healthcare regulatory environments. Experience with GRC platforms and leading incident response. Compensation Exempt: Non-Exempt Starting Wage $39.78 per hour. Actual offered wage based on applicable experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
