Collections Supervisor

Veriant Solutions is seeking a results-driven Claims Supervisor for a top client. This person will lead, motivate, and manage a high-performing team of Claims Specialists. In this role, you will drive accountability, optimize daily performance metrics, and foster a high-energy environment tailored to commission-based success. You will collaborate with department leadership to implement strategic initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance, and support the professional growth of your team. Duties and Responsibilitie sTeam Leadership : Oversee and manage recovery specialists to consistently meet and exceed monthly financial recovery and liquidation goals
- Performance Management : Track, analyze, and drive daily, hourly, and monthly team productivity metrics (e.g., claims worked per hour, call volumes).
- Coaching & Culture : Maintain a motivating presence in a fast-paced environment, utilizing a tailored management approach to fit diverse agent personalities
- Quality Assurance : Conduct regular account audits and queue analyses, communicating actionable feedback to supervisors and team members
- Data Utilization : Leverage reports and performance data to maximize the output of individual agents and sub-teams
- Operations & Compliance : Manage schedules, PTO, and hybrid work arrangements. Ensure adherence to labor laws regarding shifts and meal breaks while minimizing workplace distractions
- HR Support : Document employee behaviors and performance metrics, uploading necessary documentation into HR software
- Talent Development : Interview, hire, onboard, and continuously develop new Recovery Agents
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with the Claims Manager, field management, and other OPD department branches to resolve complex issues and streamline processes
- Strategic Alignment : Attend weekly department meetings to review recovery targets and execute initiatives that align with industry standards
