SUPPLY TECHNICIAN

Summary You will serve as a Supply Technician in the Industrial Support Department of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR SAN DIEGO. Requirements Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Anticipates and meets the needs of both internal and external customers. Delivers high-quality products and services; is committed to continuous improvement; 2. The ability to control, cataloging, requirements forecasting, procurement scheduling, distribution, and overhaul (DX/RX) and disposal of material. Executes replenishment strategies to meet enterprise supply planning objectives in order to satisfy customer requirements; 3. Evaluates and analyzes the ability to execute the demand plan based on resource limitations and capacity constraints. Identifies, prioritizes, allocates, and manages inventory to sustain planned operational requirements and to optimize material availability and weapons systems readiness; 4. Demonstrates skill in using job-relevant information systems and/or software applications, such as word processing, spreadsheets, automated research tools, database applications, and the internet; 5. Conveys written information in a clear, concise, organized, and convincing manner for the intended audience, using correct English grammar, punctuation, and selling. Expresses thoughts persuasively and uses effective modes to reinforce message retention.
