As a Field Installation Technician, you play a crucial role in providing our customers with a seamless Tires as a Service (TaaS) experience. You ensure that every hardware installation is precise, meticulous, and of high quality, thereby supporting the safety, performance, and long-term reliability of fleets. Your work directly impacts customer trust, operational excellence, and the success of our service offerings.
Your Tasks
- Installation of TaaS hardware on customer vehicles according to installation standards and schedules
- Preparation, configuration, and testing of hardware before installation
- Performing on-site troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs as needed
- Coordinating installation plans with fleet managers, workshops, and specialized technicians (e.g., ADR-certified electricians)
- Supporting and guiding external service providers during outsourced installations
- Managing hardware reception, quality control, storage, and inventory tracking
- Ensuring accurate hardware registration, documentation, and resupply planning
Your Profile
- Completed education (engineering degree or related field is a plus)
- More than 3 years of experience in mechanical and electrical installation or repair
- Practical experience with semi-trailer trucks, telematics systems, or tire systems
- Strong planning and organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Team-oriented mindset and clear communication skills
- Basic IT skills and comfortable use of digital tools
- Fluent in the local language and English, with flexibility for 47 days of travel per week
