RN - Med Surg Tele - Local Contract

WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Med/Surg Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Waterbury , CT.

Job Function:

• Day Shift and Night Shift.
• Prepares and administers ( or ally, subcutaneously, through an IV) and rec or ds prescrib ed m ed ications.
• Rep or ts adverse reactions to m ed ications or treatments in acc or dance with the policy regarding the administration of m ed ications by a licens ed registe r ed nurse .
• Ed ucates patients on surgical proc ed ures ; Rec or ds patients ' m ed ical inf or mation and vital signs .
• Monit or s and adjusts specializ ed equipment us ed on patients, and interprets and rec or ds . electronic displays .

Job Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Current RN license for the state of Connecticut.
• 2 years of Emergency Room RN experience is required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS and TNCC certifications from the American Heart Association are required.
