Shift Details: M-F 37.5 hrs per week, 8am-4pm (negotiable) Computer Support Specialist Duties & Responsibilities: Developing test plans Writing detailed test cases based on project requirements Perform manual testing of DFS applications Identify and document bugs in DFS’ Jira environment Validate fixes by retesting identified bugs Designing and executing manual and automated test plans for new features and releases. Building and maintaining a regression test suite to catch issues before they reach production. Performing exploratory testing to catch edge cases automated tests may miss. Partnering with engineers early in the development process to define acceptance criteria and testable requirements. Tracking, prioritizing, and reporting on defects to ensure timely resolution. Establishing QA metrics (defect escape rate, test coverage, time-to-detect) to measure quality improvements over time. Minimum Qualifications: Proof of eligibility to work in New York State (NYS). 3 years of experience using Jira for test management or bug tracking. 5 years of experience performing unit, integration, UAT, regression, and system testing. 2 years of QA testing experience on Agile projects. 5 years of experience writing test scripts.
