Overview Registered Nurse, L&D travel assignment in Lexington, NE, starting 06/23/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay is $2,336 to $2,553, with 36 guaranteed hours per week. Shift is 3x12-hour nights. Key Details Weekly pay: $2,336–$2,553 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12-hour nights Start date: 06/23/2026 Facility: small, critical-access OB/L&D unit with cross-service duties; FLOAT required Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care in OB/L&D, postpartum, and well-baby services; monitor labor progress and fetal well-being; respond to obstetric emergencies per protocol Assist with labor and delivery, including routine assessments, adjunct procedures, and newborn care; provide post-partum support and lactation referral as appropriate Monitor maternal vitals, fetal heart rate patterns, administer medications per orders, manage IVs, and assist with urgent interventions Document care in the electronic charting system (Cerner) and OB-specific tools (FetalLink); ensure accurate, timely, and compliant records Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and coordinate care during frequent patient acuity changes; participate in unit coverage and patient flow Maintain compliance with call-off policy (3 shifts per 13-week contract without penalty or payment of guarantee) and uphold patient safety and infection control standards Requirements Active RN license (state-specific licensure required for assignment) Certifications: BLS (AHA) and NRP required; preferred but not mandatory: AWHONN, STABLE, ACLS (AHA) Prior travel experience is required Obstetric/gynecology or L&D experience preferred; ability to float between OB, L&D, and Med/Surg in a small facility setting Orientation will take place on Tuesdays Benefits and Support Housing provided (note: housing may reduce pay by $10 per hour) Local travelers within 50 miles: same $10 per hour rate reduction applies 24/7 recruiter and travel support throughout the assignment Opportunity for contract extension and future openings with Healthforce Healthcare LLC Dedicated onboarding and credentialing support; nationwide travel opportunities available #J-18808-Ljbffr
