The individual will lead credit and underwriting strategies for Personal Loans line of business, with the goal of optimally balancing risk-return and customer engagement while ensuring strategies operate under Citi’s risk appetite. The individual will champion and lead enterprise initiatives that build a resilient Personal loans portfolio and drive sustainable growth. The individual will be responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team.Responsibilities:Set the long-term vision and agenda for credit strategies for Personal Loans Manage risk levels consistent with program’s financial goals and Citi’s risk appetite.Lead a best-in-class Risk team responsible for driving sustainable growth for businessPartner with modeling team on new tools, machine learning and alternate dataPartner with Operations leadership team to ensure best customer experience while maintaining the robust risk management principlesEnsure a consistent and strong control environment across Risk, product, and functional partners to manage operational risk, ensuring oversight of all strategic deliverablesContinuously identify opportunities to improve business performance, effectiveness and efficiency through process improvements and talent managementLeadership Competencies:Capability and experience with establishing strategic vision and driving change to achieve business targetsSenior executive interactions - can present credibly to both large and small groupsStrong interpersonal skills and ability to influence at all levels of managementDisplays flexibility to work well with varying personal stylesTakes personal responsibility to lead by example.
