Key Responsibilities
As a Remote Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your daily responsibilities will include:
- Leading virtual therapy sessions using secure online platforms, focusing on topics ranging from anxiety management to relationship counseling.
- Creating a safe and inviting atmosphere during online sessions where clients feel comfortable and understood while expressing their thoughts and emotions.
- Collaborating with clients to identify personal goals and creating actionable treatment plans to help them achieve these objectives.
- Implementing evidence-based treatment strategies and continuously adjusting approaches based on client feedback and progress.
- Maintaining accurate and confidential records of client interactions and therapeutic progress, consistent with state regulations and ethical standards.
- Engaging in regular supervision and peer consultation to enhance clinical skills and address any challenges encountered in practice.
Patient Population / Client Focus
You will work with a diverse set of clients, encompassing various backgrounds, ages, and unique mental health needs. Qualifications
To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
- Current licensure to practice independently as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience providing therapy and developing treatment plans successfully.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on establishing trust in a virtual environment.
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms and online therapy tools to facilitate effective remote sessions.
Preferred Experience
While not required, the following experiences will be an advantage:
- Experience with specific populations, such as children, adolescents, or veterans.
- Specialized training in therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed care.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and care coordination.
Compensation and Benefits
