Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30/5:00 pm - No call, no weekends, or holidays.

Job Description

The Radiology department is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to perform general ultrasound exams including Abdomens, OB, GYN, Breast, and Vascular/Arterials. This role includes evaluating, synthesizing, and communicating diagnostic information clearly to the referring physician and radiologist. The technologist will also ensure the safety and well-being of all patients in the Imaging Department.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound general exams, including Abdomens, OB, GYN, Breast, and Vascular/Arterials.
• Evaluate and communicate diagnostic information to physicians and radiologists.
• Ensure patient safety and well-being within the Imaging Department.
• Troubleshoot ultrasound equipment and coordinate repairs with service engineers.
• Perform general diagnostic radiology procedures as needed.
• Organize daily work schedule and perform related clerical duties including patient scheduling.
• Establish and maintain positive working relationships with patients and the healthcare team.
• Follow established departmental procedures diligently.

Required Experience

• Experience in performing ultrasound general exams independently.
• Ability to evaluate and synthesize diagnostic information effectively.

Certifications/Licensure

• Must be ARRT and ARDMS certified.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Must maintain compliance with continuing medical education (CME).
