Training Manager

Summary
The Training Manager leads the DOE/NNSA Protective Force training program at Kirtland AFB, ensuring personnel maintain required qualifications, certifications, and operational readiness. This position serves as a key member of the leadership team and works closely with site management and government representatives to support a critical national security mission.
_ P_** osition is contingent upon contract award and based in Albuquerque, NM at Kirtland AFB. Candidates from other DOE, NNSA, national laboratory, and nuclear security locations are encouraged to apply. Relocation support may be available for qualified individuals. **
Responsibilities
LeadandmanagetheProtectiveForcetrainingprogram.
Develop anddeliverinitial,annual,refresher,andremedialtraining.
Ensure compliancewithDOE,NNSA,NTC,andcontractrequirements.
Maintain trainingrecords,certifications,andqualificationprograms.
Conduct evaluations,drills,andperformanceassessments.
Identify traininggapsandimplementcorrectiveactions.
Coordinate withsiteleadershipandgovernmentstakeholders.
Support inspections,audits,andoperationalreadinessactivities.
Serve astheProjectManager'srepresentativewhenrequired.

Qualifications
ExperiencemanagingoradministeringtrainingprogramswithinaDOE,NNSA,ProtectiveForce,military,lawenforcement,orhigh-securityenvironment.
Experiencedevelopinganddeliveringsecurity-relatedtraining.
Knowledgeofqualification,certification,andcompliancerequirements.
DOEQClearanceorabilitytoobtainandmaintainone.
CurrentNTCProtectiveForceBasicSecurityOfficerTrainercertificationorabilitytoobtain.
Strongleadership,organizational,andcommunicationskills.
Preferred Qualifications:
NTCInstructor,CurriculumDevelopment,orrelatedDOEtrainingcertifications.
Experiencesupportingarmedsecuritypersonnelandqualificationprograms.
Experienceworkingdirectlywithgovernmentcustomersandstakeholders.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
