Start your Voyage –Apply NowProfile Summary: The Senior Associate's main responsibility is to assist the secondary private equity investment team in conducting due diligence on various private equity funds and managers and assess the merits of investment opportunities. Profile Description: Reviewing annual and quarterly reports and financial statements of venture capital/LBO/mezzanine fundsAnalyzing the long-term viability of portfolio companies, the market for their products/services, their financing needs, and the fund's exit optionsParticipating in deal meetings to determine price, structuring and negotiation tacticsPortfolio management; quarterly and annual portfolio reportingPrepare investment analysis for presentation to the Investment CommitteeKnowledge & Experience:2-5 years of experience in secondaries PE, investment banking, or private equityUndergraduate in accounting, finance, economics or business management preferredExposure to private equity/principal investing, mergers and acquisitions, and/or leveraged finance preferredStrong work ethic, organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and resourcefulnessExcellent financial analysis, modeling, and projection skillsSolid understanding of financial statements, capital structures, and valuation techniquesStrong verbal and written communication skillsCompensation Pay Disclosure:Voya is committed to pay that’s fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities.The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
