We're looking for an experienced Welding Technician who takes pride in craftsmanship, values precision, and enjoys solving problems as part of a high-performing team. In this role, you'll fabricate high-quality steel forms and components that are shipped across North America and beyond. Every weld you make contributes to products built to last.

As a Welding Technician, you'll use your fabrication expertise to build steel forms and components to exact engineering specifications. Your work will include:

• Perform MIG welding, plasma cutting, and metal fabrication on steel forms and related components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and work instructions to ensure accurate assembly and weld placement.
• Operate manual and semi-automatic welding equipment while selecting appropriate settings for each application.
• Cut, fit, grind, clean, and prepare materials to achieve high-quality finished products.
• Inspect welds and finished assemblies to ensure they meet Aster Brands' quality standards.
• Identify and correct defects, minimizing distortion and ensuring structural integrity.
• Safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and care of welding equipment and tools.
• Collaborate with teammates across manufacturing to improve processes, solve problems, and meet production goals.
• Support other fabrication, assembly, and manufacturing activities as business needs require.

You'll be successful in this role if you:

• Have at least 5 years of professional welding and fabrication experience, with strong MIG welding skills.
• Can confidently read and interpret fabrication drawings and blueprints.
• Have experience using plasma cutting equipment, grinders, power tools, and measuring equipment.
• Maintain exceptional attention to detail and consistently produce high-quality work.
• Take ownership of your work and continuously look for ways to improve.
• Work well with others and willingly step in wherever the team needs help.
• Put safety first by following established procedures and helping maintain a safe work environment.
