Gotham Enterprises Ltd is actively seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dedicated team at the Community Health Clinic in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Work Environment

This position is structured to provide flexible remote work arrangements while ensuring you remain connected with our community health initiatives. The core work hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts and rotating weekends to meet the varying needs of our student population. Additionally, some on-call availability may be required to support urgent mental health situations, ensuring timely interventions and responses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments for students, analyzing personal histories and current concerns to identify appropriate interventions.
  • Collaborate with students to develop individualized treatment plans that aim to address identified mental health challenges and promote overall emotional well-being.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-focused approaches in both individual and group therapy settings.
  • Facilitate therapy sessions that encourage personal growth, enhanced emotional regulation, and the development of effective coping strategies.
  • Work alongside other mental health professionals such as psychiatrists and psychologists, maintaining a cohesive care strategy for students.
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, employing de-escalation techniques and coordinating referrals for additional care when necessary.
  • Educate students and families on mental health topics, fostering understanding and access to treatment options and community resources.
  • Ensure meticulous documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering to legal and ethical standards protocols.
  • Engage with multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to continuous professional development efforts.
  • Stay informed about relevant laws, regulations, and ethical practices related to school-based mental health support.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will focus primarily on the mental health needs of students within our community health clinic, many of whom face a range of emotional and behavioral challenges. Your work will contribute to creating a safe, supportive atmosphere where students can learn and thrive, ultimately reducing barriers to their educational success.

Qualifications

  • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid LCSW licensure in Pennsylvania.
  • A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health services, with a preference for those having an educational focus.
  • Strong knowledge of mental health disorders and treatment modalities, particularly those applicable to the youth population.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in conducting assessments, diagnosing conditions, and formulating effective treatment plans that lead to positive outcomes.
  • Experience delivering both individual and group therapy sessions, with flexibility to apply various therapeutic approaches as necessary.
  • Exceptional crisis intervention skills that enable effective responses in high-stress situations.
  • Outstanding communication abilities with a proven track record of building rapport with students from diverse backgrounds.
  • A commitment to professional ethics, sound judgment, and maintaining healthy boundaries.
  • Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer literacy.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in a school or educational setting, particularly within a mental health or counseling role.
  • Involvement in program development aimed at enhancing student mental health services.
  • Familiarity with community resources and referral processes vital for student support.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between USD 80,000 and 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
