Job Title : Compliance Analyst - Remote Job Summary :
We are seeking a Compliance Analyst with expertise in Jurisdiction & Classification (JC) and the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of U.S. export and import regulations and an ability to classify products in compliance with regulatory requirements. This remote role offers an exciting opportunity to work on critical trade compliance tasks in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities :
We are seeking a Compliance Analyst with expertise in Jurisdiction & Classification (JC) and the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of U.S. export and import regulations and an ability to classify products in compliance with regulatory requirements. This remote role offers an exciting opportunity to work on critical trade compliance tasks in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Ensure compliance with U.S. Regulations, including Export Administration Regulations (EAR) , International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) , and HTS .
- Perform JC and HTS classifications .
- Support investigations and reviews of potential GT escapes and disclosures.
- Manage ERP and classification repositories.
- Assist with Commodity Jurisdiction (CJ) and Commodity Classification Automated Tracking System (CCATS) submissions to government agencies.
- Support senior classifiers, create metrics, and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant experience , or
- Master's degree in a related field with 2 years of relevant experience , or
- 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen .
- Degree in Engineering or Business Administration .
- Engineering or technical background.
- Experience in Aerospace programs/technical roles .
- Familiarity with World Customs Organization (WCO) HTS classifications.
- Expertise in U.S. Export Regulations (EAR, CCL, ITAR, USML).
- 1-2 years of experience with GT-related export/HTS classification matters.
- Knowledge of Collins/RTX trade compliance processes and systems (e.g., GTS, OCR, MKDenial, xClass, TEXPORT) is a plus.
