Build lasting customer relationships while helping industrial facilities keep critical equipment running. As an Inside Account Executive at KJ Electric, you will support existing accounts, grow sales, prepare quotes and orders, and connect customers with the products and services that best fit their needs.

What you'll do

Sell electric motors , drives, controls, power transmission products, electrical supplies, and related repair and field services.

Manage and grow an assigned customer portfolio through responsive service, consistent follow-up, and proactive outreach.

Respond to customer questions by phone and email, clarify application needs, and recommend practical product or service solutions.

Prepare accurate quotes , enter and track orders, and communicate pricing, availability, lead times, and next steps.

Partner with outside sales , product specialists, purchasing, warehouse, repair, and service teams to deliver a strong customer experience.

Use company sales systems to maintain customer information, document activity, manage follow-ups, and support forecasting.

Stay current on industry trends, manufacturers, competitors, legacy equipment, and emerging product technologies.

Support counter sales and branch operations, including coordination with shipping, receiving, and inventory teams.

What you'll bring

Strong written and verbal communication skills , with a service-first approach to customer relationships.

Excellent organization, accuracy, and attention to detail when managing quotes, orders, and follow-up activity.

Self-motivation , sound judgment, and the ability to manage priorities in a fast-moving sales environment.

Collaborative mindset and willingness to support shared team and branch goals.

Comfort learning technical products, manufacturer lines, sales processes, and business systems.

Previous experience in inside sales , customer service, account support, industrial distribution, or a related field is preferred.

Knowledge of electric motors, drives, controls, or power transmission products is helpful but not required; training is available.
