Engineering CAD Designer

Our client is seeking a Engineering CAD Designer to join their team. As a Engineering CAD Designer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting factory and engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Engineering CAD Designer Location: Litchfield Park, AZ Work Location: Onsite or Hybrid - Glendale, AZ Work Schedule: Part Time 2-3 days per week 8:00 am - 4:30 pm What's the Job? Utilize AutoCAD 2025 to develop preliminary designs and detailed drafts for factory engineering projects. Assist in preparing supporting documents for capital investment proposals in collaboration with engineering teams. Create industrial drawings for equipment tooling, layouts, process flow sheets, P&IDs, and fabrication details using AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor. Support the organization and archiving of engineering drawings and manuals in both paper and electronic formats. Manage small building improvement projects and support factory operations with technical concepts and basic design tasks. What's Needed? High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in a related field preferred. Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D/3D and Autodesk Inventor, with 4-6 years of industrial design experience preferred. Experience supporting engineering projects within a TPM environment is advantageous. Strong drafting, documentation, and technical problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams and divisions.
