Job Description Now Hiring MIG TIG Welder Fabricator Location Auburn Indiana First Shift Monday through Thursday 600 am to 400 pm Overtime available on Fridays Pay 22.00 per hour Immediate openings are available for experienced MIG TIG Welders and Fabricators in Auburn Indiana. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with welding and fabrication experience who enjoys working with blueprints precision measuring tools and a variety of metal products. Job Duties Perform MIG and TIG welding on a variety of metal alloys Read and interpret blueprints shop drawings and work instructions Layout position align fit and weld parts into completed assemblies Use jigs welding equipment hand tools calipers rulers straightedges and measuring tools Inspect finished products to ensure they meet customer specifications Monitor welding processes to prevent overheating distortion or warping Safely operate a forklift to move materials and finished products Maintain a clean organized and safe work area Follow OSHA safety requirements and company safety procedures Report quality issues and nonconforming materials to supervisors Troubleshoot basic welding and fabrication issues Complete production goals while maintaining high quality standards Qualifications Previous MIG and TIG welding experience strongly preferred Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings Experience using calipers rulers straightedges and other measuring equipment Knowledge of welding equipment fabrication techniques and metal alloys Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to work independently and with a team Good communication skills High school diploma or GED preferred Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to stand walk bend kneel squat twist reach and work throughout a 10 hour shift Excellent hand eye coordination and manual dexterity Benefits Medical dental vision and prescription insurance Life insurance Short Term Disability and Employee Assistance Program 401k and Roth 401k with company match Safety glasses and safety boot program One thousand dollar sign on bonus paid in scheduled installments Quarterly bonus opportunities based on company performance If you are looking for a stable first shift welding job with competitive pay excellent benefits and long term career opportunities apply today.
