Requirements

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing facility
• Develop and implement individualized speech-language therapy treatment plans
• Document patient progress and response to treatment accurately and in a timely manner
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver comprehensive care
• Educate patients and caregivers on communication strategies and swallowing safety
• Maintain compliance with facility standards and state/federal regulations

Requirements

• Active SLP license in NJ required to start the assignment
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• BLS/CPR certification
• Prior SNF experience preferred
