Location: Utica, NY
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Night Shift | 5x8 Hours | 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM | 40 Hours/Week

Pay Package

Travelers: $1,500 – $1,700 Weekly
Local Candidates: $1,200 – $1,400 Weekly

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) for a long-term care assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong LTC experience and be comfortable working night shifts in a fast-paced resident care environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting.
• Administer medications and treatments according to established orders and protocols.
• Monitor residents' conditions and report changes to the appropriate healthcare team.
• Perform assessments, vital signs, and routine nursing procedures.
• Assist with activities of daily living and promote resident safety and comfort.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, nurses, physicians, and other care team members.
• Utilize PointClickCare EMR for documentation and care-related tasks.
• Follow infection-control, safety, and facility policies.
• Float to other units within the same building as required.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support quality resident outcomes.

Requirements

• Active New York State LPN License .
• Current BLS certification .
• Minimum 1+ year of Long-Term Care (LTC) experience .
• LTC experience is required.
• PointClickCare EMR experience required.
• Nursys report showing all active nursing licenses.
• Must be willing to float within the same building as required.
• Strong communication, clinical, and organizational skills.
