Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Medical Billing Specialist to join a busy ophthalmology practice in Plantation. The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years of medical billing experience, with a strong understanding of ophthalmology and surgical billing processes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of medical billing experience in a medical practice
- Experience with ophthalmology billing preferred
- Knowledge of Medicare, commercial insurance plans, and surgical claims processing
- Familiarity with insurance authorizations, referrals, and eligibility verification
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
