Telecom Compliance Counsel

Supporting a fast-growing AI-native customer service platform, the part-time Telecom Compliance Counsel will address compliance, contractual, and privacy issues related to a newly launched voice channel, working remotely on an as-needed engagement basis. Key responsibilities Draft and review Terms & Conditions and Acceptable Use Policy for the voice channel Advise on subprocessor integration and necessary updates to the company's privacy policy Analyze number portability obligations and provide guidance on GDPR and TCPA compliance Required qualifications 7+ years of experience in telecom, VoIP, or communications law Familiarity with FCC regulation, TCPA, and carrier/platform compliance Knowledge of GDPR and cross-border data privacy issues related to call recordings Experience with drafting Terms & Conditions and Acceptable Use Policies for communications platforms Active bar admission in good standing in any U.S. jurisdiction; J.D. from an accredited law school
