TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Ortho RN in Greensboro, North Carolina, 27401!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Orthopedics Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years required, no first-time travelers. License: Active nursing license required. Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred. Must-Have: - EKG Pass/Fail exam is mandatory for all RNs. - Experience with orthopedic and trauma patients is required. - Proficient in EPIC charting system. Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Orthopedics for a 13-week assignment. The position requires flexibility with scheduling. There is a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences. Candidates should have experience in pre-operative and post-operative orthopedic care for elective and trauma patients. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:6, with the possibility of stretching to 1:7. Candidates will handle total hip, knee, and shoulder replacements and repairs, as well as orthopedic trauma cases. Proficiency in safe patient handling equipment and orthopedic supplies is essential. Key responsibilities include managing various conditions and procedures related to orthopedic care. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in patient assessment, treatment, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. All RNs are required to pass a compliance EKG exam with two attempts allowed. Modules are to be completed during the orientation, not included in billable hours.
