Product Marketing Manager

Abbott seeks a Product Marketing Manager for its Heart Failure Division in Austin, Texas to lead commercialization of the HeartMate mechanical circulatory support portfolio. The role translates strategy into market development, customer engagement, and sales enablement programs while collaborating across functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead U.S. commercialization initiatives from planning through execution, measurement, and optimization
- Develop product marketing plans aligned with HeartMate portfolio strategy and brand standards
- Own product launches, lifecycle initiatives, and market development programs including objectives and risk management
- Develop messaging frameworks, sales enablement tools, and customer-facing resources
- Analyze program performance and market trends; communicate insights to marketing leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, science, engineering, nursing, or related field
- 7+ years progressively responsible medical device, pharmaceutical, or regulated healthcare marketing experience
- Demonstrated experience independently leading product launches and commercialization programs
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders without direct authority
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and project leadership skills with excellent communication abilities
- Ability to travel up to 35% for customer and field engagements
