National Training Manager - Appliance Installation

Position National Training Manager – Appliance Installation Location Dallas, TX. The role is responsible for overseeing on‑site training courses out of our Dallas location. Candidates must be able to live in the Dallas area or within a reasonable driving distance. Ferguson associates nationwide will travel to Dallas for hands‑on training. On days with no training, remote work is an option. Relocation assistance will be provided for candidates outside the area who are open to relocating to Dallas. Responsibilities Organize meetings with management before preparing course materials to ensure a detailed understanding of training subjects and processes. Continually research methods and techniques in workplace training and remain up to date on developments within the industry and competitors. Maintain and update online modules within Workday. Create curriculum and schedule hands‑on training courses. Lead training classes and arrange ride‑along during visits. Develop in‑market programs and tests after completion of training courses to determine effectiveness of training strategies. Develop training tracker and installer levels for program. Create printed and instructional materials to be distributed during training. Actively seek current training methods and best practices to facilitate training employees. Conduct regular meetings with management to identify subjects to be addressed or areas in need of additional instruction. Create internal marketing materials to be distributed throughout the company to announce training programs and details. Qualifications Hands‑on experience in appliance installation required. Experience analyzing company needs, lesson planning, development, and implementation. Extensive knowledge of teaching theory for creating effective instructional materials. Bachelor’s degree in Education or Human Resources helpful but not required. Instructional experience in a group business setting at a large level highly desired. Strong understanding of business goals and standards for customer service. Ability to communicate effectively with senior management and other departments. Experience developing yearly training plans and materials for all departments throughout the company. Ability to prioritize and lead multiple training initiatives simultaneously. Bonus or incentive plan eligible.Starting wage may vary by location based on local or state wage requirements.
