In this role, you will develop and maintain CMM programs, validate product conformance to engineering specifications, and collaborate closely with Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, and Production teams to drive product quality and continuous improvement.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, modify, validate, and troubleshoot Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) programs using PC-DMIS, Calypso, PCMIS, or similar metrology softwareInterpret engineering drawings, CAD models, blueprints, and GD&T requirements to create accurate inspection strategies and measurement plansPerform first-piece, in-process, final, and First Article Inspections (FAI) to verify compliance with customer and engineering requirementsAnalyze dimensional inspection data to identify trends, process variation, and nonconformancesCommunicate inspection results and measurement findings to Quality Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, and production teamsInvestigate dimensional issues and support root cause analysis and corrective action activities to improve manufacturing performanceOperate, maintain, and verify the performance of CMMs and related metrology equipment, including FARO Arms, Romer Arms, and portable measurement systemsMaintain accurate inspection records, measurement reports, and quality documentation in accordance with company and customer requirementsPartner with cross-functional teams to improve inspection methods, measurement efficiency, and overall product qualityEnsure compliance with customer specifications, quality standards, and internal proceduresMust HavesHigh school diploma or equivalentMinimum of 5 years of experience in CMM programming and dimensional inspection within a manufacturing environmentProficiency with PC-DMIS, Calypso, PCMIS, or equivalent CMM programming softwareStrong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and blueprint interpretationExperience operating CMMs and other dimensional inspection equipmentProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and OutlookStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentEffective written and verbal communication skillsNice to HavesAssociate degree in Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, Quality, or a related technical fieldExperience with FARO Arms, Romer Arms, and portable metrology systemsExperience supporting First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation and requirementsKnowledge of manufacturing process improvement and quality system methodologiesCMM maintenance and calibration experienceExposure to advanced metrology technologies and measurement automationWhat We OfferCompetitive salary with performance-based bonus potential4 weeks of PTO plus paid holidaysComprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage401(k) with employer matchA collaborative culture focused on innovation and continuous improvementOpportunities for career growth within a global technology leaderUS Conec will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States.
