TOPS Staffing is hiring a Maintenance Technician for a growing manufacturing company seeking someone with a solid mechanical and electrical maintenance background. This is an excellent opportunity for a technician with at least a couple years of industrial maintenance experience who enjoys troubleshooting equipment and keeping production running. The primary focus of this role is responding to production equipment breakdowns, with preventive maintenance performed during scheduled downtime. Daylight shift - Offering a flexible starting time Pay: Up to $25hr based on experience and skill level Schedule - Monday to Friday - occasional weekend work could be required

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll work closely with production to diagnose equipment issues, restore machinery to operation, and help maintain the reliability of manufacturing equipment throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment to minimize downtime
• Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Maintain equipment such as automated production machinery, cutting tables, industrial washers, ovens, conveyors, and related equipment
• Inspect equipment and identify potential mechanical or electrical issues before failures occur
• Complete maintenance work orders and PM documentation
• Communicate equipment issues and repair status with production leadership
• Assist with equipment installations, adjustments, and continuous improvement projects
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized maintenance department
• Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of industrial maintenance experience – or associates degree in related field
• Experience troubleshooting production or manufacturing equipment
• Working knowledge of: Electrical systems and controls Mechanical equipment Hydraulic systems Pneumatic systems
• Ability to diagnose equipment failures and perform repairs independently
• Experience performing preventative maintenance
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Manufacturing maintenance experience preferred
• High School Diploma or GED required; technical training is a plus
• Physical Requirements: Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb throughout the shift Lift up to 50 pounds as needed Work safely around operating manufacturing equipment
