With over 370 locations across the U.S., the company offers local expertise backed by a national supply chain. Job Summary Responsible for managing counter sales and customer relations. Key Responsibilities Order products, arrange delivery, contact customers regarding delivery and update them on order status. Takes special orders and keeps customers updated on progress. Acts as liaison between warehouse supervisor and customers. Ensures purchase orders are completed. Pulls orders as required. Answers telephones and ensures counters are properly stocked. Career Level & Dimensions Typical Training/Experience: HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred. 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility. Problem Complexity & Autonomy Under close supervision, exercises limited latitude/independent judgment. Work typically involves detailed checks or close review of output by a senior coworker and/or supervisor. Job Requirements Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable. Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time. Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles. Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated success providing excellent customer service. Strong verbal communication skills. Experience using sales order computer software.
