A healthcare facility near Turner, Oregon is seeking a Neurohospitalist with expertise in Internal Medicine or Neurology for a locum tenens position starting in early 2025. This role is focused on inpatient consulting without critical care responsibilities. The facility is looking for coverage for 1 week each month, with shifts running from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM , and occasional weekend call coverage. Position Details:

• Location : Near Turner, Oregon
• Start Date : January 2025
• Specialty : Neurohospitalist (Internal Medicine or Neurology)
• Practice Setting : Inpatient consulting (no primary admitting service)
• Shift Times : Approximately 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Call Coverage : 1 weekend every 8 weeks (24-hour call)
• Patients per Shift : 10-12
• Hospital Stroke Certification : Yes
• Support Staff : Includes RNs, MAs, and Advanced Practice Providers

• Board Certification : Must be board eligible or certified in Neurology or Internal Medicine
• License : Must hold an active Oregon medical license
• Certifications : BLS required
• Skills Needed : Neurodiagnostic procedures, lumbar punctures, EEGs, thrombolytic therapy, and brain death exams

• December 23rd (pending credentialing)

• Flexible scheduling : 1 week of coverage per month
• Work with an experienced neuro-hospitalist team
