ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Are you competitive, outgoing, and motivated by turning conversations into new business? Our State Farm agency is looking for an Acquisition Specialist to help grow our customer base and create new sales opportunities.

This is a sales-focused position for someone who enjoys connecting with people, building relationships, and working toward measurable goals. You will engage prospective customers through outbound calls, lead follow-up, email, referrals, and community outreach, identify insurance needs, and guide prospects through the sales process.

You do not need to come in as an insurance expert. We are looking for someone with the communication skills, drive, and follow-through to succeed in sales. For the right candidate, this role provides an opportunity to develop valuable insurance and sales experience while building a long-term career.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Connect with prospective customers through outbound calls, emails, lead follow-up, referrals, and community outreach.
• Build and manage a pipeline of new business opportunities through consistent prospecting and follow-up.
• Identify customer needs, provide quotes, and explain appropriate insurance products and coverage options once licensed.
• Guide prospects through the sales process, confidently ask for the business, and work toward established acquisition and sales goals.
• Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions, follow-up activity, and progress toward sales objectives.
• Collaborate with the agency team on outreach strategies while maintaining compliance with office procedures and insurance regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable making outbound calls, initiating conversations, and consistently following up with prospective customers.
• Sales-minded, self-motivated, and energized by goals, results, and performance incentives.
• Organized with strong follow-through and the ability to manage multiple opportunities at different stages of the sales process.
• Previous experience in sales,, marketing, insurance, or customer service is preferred.
• Must be able to obtain applicable state insurance licenses.
