Registered Nurse Emergency Room

$2203.20/week –

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment. The ideal candidate will support behavioral health units and urgent care areas within the ED while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patient conditions, providing appropriate interventions based on emergency protocols.
• Support behavioral health units, ensuring patient safety and security with collaboration from security teams.
• Float between different units within scope, including rapid evaluation areas for urgent and critical care needs.
• Document patient information accurately using Cerner, FirstNet, and Launch systems.
• Adhere to all required certifications, safety standards, and hospital policies during shifts.
• Participate in ongoing education, including modules and annual stroke CEs, to maintain licensure and skills.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Maryland or compact RN license at the time of submission.
• Possess a minimum of 3 years of recent Emergency Department experience; 2 years in Level I or Level II trauma preferred.
• Certified in ACLS, BLS, NIH, and PALS; CEN certification preferred.
• Demonstrate experience supporting behavioral health and urgent care units.
• Show strong precepting and training skills (preferred).
• Be willing to work night shifts with rotating weekends, including every other Saturday and Sunday.
