AUTOMOTIVE A-LEVEL TECHNICIAN

Delaney Tire & Auto is seeking an experienced A-Level Automotive Technician to join our growing team.

We are looking for a skilled, dependable technician who can accurately diagnose and repair complex vehicle problems, produce quality work, and help support the development of less-experienced technicians.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical problems
• Perform engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brake, HVAC, and drivability repairs
• Complete thorough digital vehicle inspections with clear pictures, videos, and notes
• Accurately document diagnostic findings and repair recommendations
• Verify repairs and perform quality-control checks
• Maintain strong productivity and efficiency
• Communicate clearly with service advisors and management
• Assist and mentor B- and C-level technicians when needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow established shop procedures and safety standards

Qualifications

• At least five years of professional automotive repair experience preferred
• Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting abilities
• Ability to perform advanced mechanical repairs
• Comfortable working on a wide range of makes and models
• Must own the tools necessary for the position
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Dependable attendance and professional attitude
• ASE certifications are preferred
• State inspection license is a plus
