Responsibilities Include: Working and maintaining client cases in Case Management Software Preparing and sending letters of representation Obtaining police reports/incident reports Obtaining driver records Obtaining cell phone records Handling property damage claims Making Open Records Requests for reports, dash cam and body camera videos from law enforcement Verifying insurance and setting up liability, personal injury protection, uninsured/underinsured and health insurance claims Sending out Preservation Notices to adverse carriers and defendants Setting up inspections, if needed Drafting client correspondence Communicating with clients to determine medical provider information Maintaining client contact to determine treatment status Obtaining a health insurance or Medicaid/Medicare statement of payments made on behalf of the client and making sure they relate to the accident Obtaining lien or subrogation information and updating Case Management Software Preparing demand letters for liability, personal injury protection and uninsured/underinsured Assisting with follow up calls to adjusters Scheduling regular monthly file reviews with attorneys Preparing settlement breakdowns Assisting with obtaining reductions Assist the Paralegal and Attorney Prepare Binders with Discovery materials Prepare Binders in preparation for a hearing, deposition, or mediation Properly disposing of confidential materials Saving and adding invoices to expenses in case management software Saving E-filings and E-service files and posting them on case management software Skills and Qualifications: Strong analytical skills Power user of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat Professional Familiarity with Case Management software a plus Organized Ability to work well under pressure Speak Spanish Education and Requirements: Minimum 2 years of experience in personal injury law
