Job Summary
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products while maintaining inventory accuracy and providing excellent support to customers and internal team members. This position ensures efficient warehouse operations by following established safety procedures and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Wear appropriate work attire and maintain a professional appearance.
• Pick products for customer orders and assist customers with order pickups.
• Verify the accuracy of items and quantities on pick tickets, transfer requests, and shipping documents.
• Report inventory discrepancies or damaged products to warehouse management.
• Assist team members by confirming order accuracy before shipment.
• Prepare, stage, and ship orders using parcel carriers, LTL freight, and company delivery vehicles.
• Receive incoming inventory and verify shipments against packing lists.
• Document and report shortages, overages, or damaged shipments.
• Submit receiving documentation for inventory updates.
• Stock received merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment after completing required training and certification.
• Perform routine inspections of warehouse equipment and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Immediately report workplace injuries, accidents, or unsafe conditions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Schedule Requirements
Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, inventory, or material handling experience preferred.
• Experience in customer service or distribution environments is a plus.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment and warehouse technology.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.

Communication Skills:

• Ability to read and understand written instructions, procedures, and documentation.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to follow verbal and written directions accurately.

Math Skills
Basic arithmetic skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Ability to apply sound judgment and follow established procedures while resolving routine issues.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to operate computers, calculators, copiers, and other office equipment.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment following proper training.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying materials.
• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 20 pounds.
• Good vision and hearing to safely perform warehouse duties and communicate effectively.

Work Environment

• Primarily works in a warehouse environment with occasional office duties.
• May be exposed to varying temperatures, humidity, dust, fumes, airborne particles, loud noise, and outdoor weather conditions.
• Must follow all workplace safety policies and procedures.
