Trueline’s client, a leading global law firm with a strong commitment to diversity and colleague growth, is seeking a Real Estate Paralegal to join their team in Chicago, New York, Phoenix, or Washington, DC. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with attorneys in the Hospitality & Leisure practice group on complex real estate transactions, with great support and development opportunities. What You'll Do as the Real Estate Paralegal: Coordinate and execute due diligence, reviewing title commitments, surveys, zoning reports, and underlying documents Prepare, review, and finalize conveyance and closing documents Manage closings for acquisitions, dispositions, financings, debt, and equity transactions, including signature packages, recording, and closing binders Draft and file UCC financing statements; conduct UCC, lien, and litigation searches Support entity formation and maintenance, preparing officer certificates, resolutions, and organization documents based on precedents Assist with routine legal research, preparing reports and filings as needed Work directly with clients and external parties to coordinate transaction details Must?Haves as the Real Estate Paralegal: Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree, or Paralegal Certificate with equivalent experience Minimum 5 years hands-on real estate experience in a law firm, in-house legal department, or title company Proficiency with title and survey review; experience with large-scale transactions Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple projects Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client-facing interaction Proven ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines Discretion and confidentiality with legal documents and sensitive matters Strong technical aptitude: Microsoft Office, PDF tools, document management systems, and timekeeping software (e.g., Elite) Nice-to-Haves as the Real Estate Paralegal: Exposure to hospitality-related real estate transactions Familiarity drafting incorporation documents, resolutions, and related certificates Experience with Elite or similar legal time-tracking platforms Our Client Offers: Competitive salary range of $100,000–$130,000 (based on experience) Paid time off, paid holidays, discretionary bonuses Formal mentorship programs and ongoing professional development Inclusive, collaborative culture that values diverse perspectives and employee growth Trueline and its clients are unabashed equal?opportunity employers committed to a diverse workforce.
