Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:

Provide specialized critical care nursing to ICU patients, monitoring and supporting their vital functions and ensuring optimal recovery. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, evidence-based patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans tailored to critical needs.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions following physician directives.
• Monitor vital signs and use advanced equipment to track patient status continuously.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations, providing life-saving interventions.
• Document patient observations, treatments, and responses accurately.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding care plans and progress.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; current RN license required.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of ICU nursing experience preferred.
• Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations with sound clinical judgment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of ICU protocols, equipment, and patient safety standards.
