Schedule:

Normal work schedules are 12-hour days for 7 days a week. Days and hours vary based on project schedules, locations and workload. Mandatory overtime based on seasonal workload and remote work settings.

Summary:

Under the direction of the Project Manager and Head Cook this position is responsible for performing housekeeping duties and help in the kitchen.

Essential Functions:

• General housekeeping duties to include dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning, and sanitizing of bathrooms, offices, hallways, bedrooms, laundry, etc.
• Assist with kitchen duties if necessary.
• Making beds.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Promotes, establishes, and maintains a safe work environment for all employees and clients.
• Ability to work independently and effectively with a team.
• Build and maintain good public relations with the client, residents, and co-workers.
• Monitor and maintain a high level of safe and sanitary working conditions.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function and preferably can also perform other tasks satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.


Education and/or Experience:

Minimum:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Prior experience in housekeeping
• Previous experience in camps and/or related area experiences

Preferred:

• 2 years prior work experience

• Electrical: Rare exposure to electric shock from generator sets and other site equipment.
• Work at Heights: Rarely required to work at heights.
• Fuel & Chemicals: Rare exposure to diesel fuel, petroleum distillates, and related hazards.
• General Construction Hazards: Must remain aware of potential risks associated with heavy equipment and construction environments.
