Your Role as an HVAC Service Technician

As an HVAC Service Technician , you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining home heating and cooling systems while ensuring customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include:
Performing routine maintenance, including cleaning coils, electrical checks, airflow measurements, refrigerant checks, and warranty work.
Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems.
Conducting HVAC system repairs on heat pumps, furnaces, and water source heating
Recharging refrigerant levels, checking for leaks, and ensuring the refrigerant cycle functions properly.
Installing energy-efficiency upgrades such as smart thermostats and duct sealing.
Educating customers on system maintenance, operation, and upgrade recommendations.
Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with Goettl's high standards.
Keeping accurate records of all work performed.
Maintaining a properly stocked company truck with essential tools and equipment
Adhering to local codes, safety protocols, and testing procedures.

Requirements:

YOU MUST COMPLETE THE APPLICATION AND SUBMIT A RESUME TO BE CONSIDERED
1+ years of residential HVAC experience
1+ years of sales experience preferred
Proven ability to work within a team environment and be committed to educated and professional growth.
EPA certified - Type II or Universal
OSHA 10 Construction Safety and Health (Nevada Only)
Proven ability to work within a team environment and be committed to educated and professional growth.
For your safety, you must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Ability to pass a background check.
Must have EPA Certification (Level II or Universal Certification) or ability to obtain within 14 days
Ability to lift more than 50 lbs. and bend, stoop, stand and crawl for prolonged periods of time
Ability to work in fluctuating temperatures and small spaces.
Must have a valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record
Must be over 21
Ability to provide a basic set of your own tools
Must have flexibility to work schedule (days and hours including some nights & weekends)
