Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years experience and ARRT (CT) certification to perform imaging exams for adult and pediatric patients in an acute care setting.

Details

• Acute care radiology department providing imaging for all areas serving both adult and pediatric patients (IR limited to adults)
• Staffing includes 2 CT Techs for inpatient coverage and 1 for outpatient
• Uses EPIC EMR along with Canon/Toshiba and Fuji Synapse imaging equipment
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM with possible weekend coverage, call, and holiday shifts
• Radiologist is in-house from 7 AM to 7 PM and on call from 7 PM to 7 AM
• Floor-specific orientation is generally up to 2 weeks depending on modality

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• ARRT certification in CT required
• License required if applicable
• Must be able to start IVs
• EPIC EMR experience preferred

Additional Information

• Perform CT exams and related imaging studies across all hospital areas for adult and pediatric patients
• No lead tech in the department; reports to Radiology Director/Manager
• Black scrubs required for all techs in all modalities
• Radiation badge provided by staffing agency, not facility
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
• Previous perm employees and travelers who completed a full year must wait 2 years before returning to any WVU Medicine facility
• First-time travelers may be considered for this position
