CDL-A regional truck drivers based in Macon, Georgia, can turn CDL school training into a full-time regional driving position with hands-on mentor support and paid time behind the wheel.
Qualified CDL school graduates begin with an experienced driver mentor, earn $850 per week during training, and transition to an Eastern Regional solo driving position once they are ready.
Compensation and Training
- $850 per week during the mentor phase
- Experienced driver mentor during the first weeks
- Solo drivers average $1,600–$1,800 or more per week
- Pay deposited every Friday
- Additional earning potential for safe driving and on-time deliveries
Position Highlights
After successfully completing training, drivers receive an assigned new truck and begin hauling steady, year-round dry van freight throughout the Eastern Regional network. The position includes:
- Eastern Regional routes from the Macon, Georgia area
- Weekly home time
- No-touch freight
- Drop-and-hook loads
- Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance
- 401(k) plan
- Available pet and rider policies
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least 120 instructional hours from an accredited CDL school
- Ability to meet DOT and company hiring requirements
