Desired Skills and Experience:

• Active OT license in the state of VA required
• Previous experience as an OT in a school setting strongly preferred
• Deep understanding of school-based assessment and intervention techniques
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
• Strong time management and adaptability for a school-based schedule

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct student assessments and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings
• Develop and deliver evidence-based OT interventions in small groups and one-on-one settings
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
• Monitor, document, and report on student outcomes in compliance with school requirements
• Consult with staff on classroom adaptations and assistive technology
