Spindle is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) to support student health in school settings. This is a great opportunity for nurses who want meaningful, flexible work outside of traditional clinical environments.

What You’ll Do

Provide direct nursing care to students during the school day

Manage chronic conditions (e.g., asthma, diabetes, seizures)

Administer medications and treatments per physician orders

Respond to health concerns, injuries, and emergencies

Maintain accurate health records and documentation

Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers

Basic Requirements

Active RN license (state-specific)

Current CPR/BLS certification

At least 18 years old

Ability to respond quickly to student health needs

Willingness to complete school-based clearances

TB test (per district requirements)

Preferred Experience

School nursing, pediatric, or community health experience

Familiarity with IEPs, 504 plans, and student health plans

Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills

Calm, reliable, and student-focused approach
