Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 16 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) Position Overview The Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing high-quality surgical care to patients during their procedures. This role requires a solid understanding of surgical processes, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Schedule Varied scheduling is required, with availability needed from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM. The position also entails on-call requirements. Contract Duration This is a temporary assignment lasting 13 weeks. Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain the sterile field during surgical procedures. Assist the surgical team as needed, providing support and monitoring patient status. Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an Operating Room setting. Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications are required. Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and manage multiple tasks effectively. Holiday Expectations Candidates must be available to work 2 major holidays out of Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day, as well as 1 minor holiday, which may include the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve.
