Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Job Summary:
Provides comprehensive telemetry nursing care for patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. Oversees and collaborates with healthcare team members to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care aligned with established standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and interpret patient data to identify clinical needs and potential issues.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans to promote recovery and stability.
• Administer medications and treatments following protocols and physician orders.
• Collaborate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care efforts.
• Educate patients and families on health status, treatments, and discharge instructions.
• Delegate tasks appropriately and supervise nursing staff to ensure safe, efficient care delivery.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Possess current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Have at least two years of recent telemetry or acute care nursing experience.
• Be proficient with EPIC electronic health record system.
• Demonstrate strong critical-thinking and clinical judgment skills.
• Show commitment to ongoing professional development and patient safety.
