Job Description & Requirements Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Woodland, California. This role includes 40 hours per week, 8‑hour days, with travel employment type. Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals. Implement physical therapy treatment plans using various techniques to improve mobility and reduce pain. Operate specialized equipment and modalities safely and effectively, ensuring proper maintenance. Assess patient progress, adjust plans, and document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other professionals to ensure coordinated care. Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, mechanics, injury prevention, and self‑management. Maintain a safe treatment environment following infection control and safety protocols. Participate in quality assurance initiatives and professional development activities. Collaborate in discharge planning for smooth transition to community or home settings. Perform other duties within scope of practice. Required Essential Skills Critical thinking, customer service, and strong interpersonal communication. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English. Ability to read instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills. Physical Abilities – Stationary, moving, handling equipment (50‑100 lbs), pushing, pulling, bending. Interpersonal Skills – Positive attitude and professionalism with diverse personnel. Technical/Motor Skills – Fine manipulation and assistance during procedures. Mental Requirements – Work under pressure, handle irregular schedules, maintain concentration. Sensory – Visual acuity and effective communication.
