What You’ll Do The food and beverage department is a complex function requiring someone to coordinate and supervise multiple teams of associates in order for the restaurant to be a success. As the Food & Beverage Supervisor, you will ensure ground level operations for the food and beverage operations run smoothly. Coordinate with restaurant and banquet staff set-ups, changes and time schedules for all functions and restaurant operation Check room set-up to see that Banquet Event Order directions are completely followed. Ensure that all public areas are neat and clean Ensure the restaurant is properly set for meal services; coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure buffet is set/stocked properly Operate as a restaurant/banquet server when needed; setting up, greeting and serving the guest, and breaking down the function Inspect restaurant/banquet areas at the end of the function to ensure all equipment is returned to its proper area and all areas are clean Where You’ve Been We’re looking for someone with at least a high school diploma and at least two years working in a supervisory capacity with experience in restaurant and banquet operations. Most importantly, you’re someone who can remain calm under pressure all while communicating and coordinating associates in a positive and professional manner. Previous hotel experience is highly desired. When You’re Here You’ll be on your feet a lot. There will be occasions when you may be carrying or lifting up to 50 pounds, walking, bending/twisting, climbing stairs and working on slippery floors.
