Experienced Forklift Operator – Seasonal (Mid Shift)

Location: Olivehurst, CA
Pay: $19.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Saturday | 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM (Overtime expected. Must be available to work up to 7 days per week during peak production.)

Overview

Express Employment Professionals in Yuba City is partnering with a well-established walnut processing company in Olivehurst, CA to build a pool of Experienced Seasonal Forklift Operators.

Harvest season is underway, and our client anticipates needing a few additional forklift operators to support production through the remainder of the season. Qualified candidates will be considered as staffing needs arise. This opportunity is ideal for experienced forklift operators who thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and are flexible with overtime and extended schedules during peak harvest.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a sit-down propane forklift to transport raw materials and finished products throughout the facility
• Load and unload trucks, trailers, and processing equipment
• Supply production lines with materials to keep operations running efficiently
• Stack, organize, and transport bins and pallets throughout the warehouse and processing areas
• Perform daily forklift inspections and report equipment concerns
• Follow all food safety, GMP, and workplace safety procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Assist with other warehouse and production duties as needed

Qualifications

• Previous forklift experience required
• Sit-down propane forklift experience preferred
• Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or food processing experience is a plus
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Must be available to work Monday through Saturday, overtime, and up to 7 days per week during peak harvest operations.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work throughout the shift
• Comfortable working in a warehouse and food manufacturing environment
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment

Compensation & Benefits

• $19.00 per hour
• Seasonal full-time opportunity
• Monday–Saturday | 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
• Overtime is expected during peak production, and shifts may extend until 12:00 AM or 1:00 AM as needed
