Security Officer Full Time Patrol

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential community, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Thur: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, community policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout residential common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the community perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed. Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrol activities, and security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience. Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
