Payroll Specialist PayrollHaltom City, Texas Fort Worth:Fin/Acct/HR:Direct Hire Sep 1, 2026Payroll Specialist Key ResponsibilitiesProcess end-to-end, in-house payroll for employees across multiple states (GA, FL, SC, NC, AL, and TX)Ensure accurate payroll calculations including earnings, deductions, garnishments, taxes, and adjustmentsManage and reconcile payroll-related general ledger accountsHandle multi-state payroll tax compliance, filings, and payroll tax researchPartner with HR and Accounting to ensure payroll accuracy and complianceSupport month-end and year-end payroll processes including W-2 preparation and auditsMaintain payroll records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive employee informationAssist with process improvements and payroll best practicesQualifications3+ years of payroll processing and payroll accounting experienceStrong multi-state payroll experience requiredCPP a plusADP or Paylocity experience a plusUnderstanding of payroll reconciliations, journal entries, and payroll accounting processes
